It has been awhile since the blog has been updated, and we have lots to fill you in about.

Over the past month Blake has been able to spend some time with some of his friends. His friend Ava came over at the end of February to play, and he also got to play with his friend Lucas about a month ago.

Marlene Rose Risler...An Amazing Lady!

It is with great sadness that I post this blog today. At 1:40 a.m. on February 2, Marlene Rose Risler went to be with Our Savior! We know that she is no longer suffering and for that we are grateful, but we will miss her dearly! There will not be a day that goes by that Blake doesn't hear how wonderful is grandmother was! She was one of the most unselfish and warm people that I have ever known! She will forever be in our hearts! We love you Mom and Grandma!

Happy 1st Birthday to Blake!

Where did this last year go? It seemed like only yesterday we were in the hospital in Eau Claire holding our newborn son! Now it is one year later and we are watching him crawl, walk, and at times almost run! What a great first year it has been. We know that it will only get better with each year! We love you Blake Marcus! Happy Birthday to our boy!

We spent the weekend in Green Bay visiting Grandma Marlene and Renee and Steve's family. Thanks for their wonderful hospitality as always! We had a party for Blake on Saturday evening! He loved the balloons, cake, and bubbles!

Blake is walking!

Blake has been taking steps off and on over the last month or so. He really seems to be getting the hang of it. Within this last week he prefers walking over crawling.

Boys and Their Toys

Blake got a new toy truck for Christmas from Grandpa and Grandma Gronos. He loves to ride on it while we push him around. He also loves to push it himself! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Gronos!

Blake also got a new rocking horse that his Grandpa Ron made for him! He really enjoys sitting on it as we rock him back and forth! One night Randy made a "fort" for Blake to crawl through. Randy and I had childhood memories of making forts when we were younger, and thought that Blake would enjoy it also! He did! He wanted to keep crawling through the tunnel!
